They’ve seen a lot of change across three centuries, but their philosophy has always stayed the same: expert travelers need expert travel solutions. In 1950, Inspired by the golden age of aviation, Rimowa added distinctive grooves to their aluminum suitcases becoming a symbol for the international jet set and paying homage to the world’s first all-metal aircraft.

Now, Rimowa celebrates skills, traditions, and craftsmanship from different cultures through their latest luggage collection; drawing from a broad spectrum of artistic disciplines and a diverse network of collaborations. The suitcases are functional works of art that tell stories, bringing the heritage and spirit of cultural endeavors to life.

To express Rimowa’s approach, Regular Animal designed a graphic framework with an art-deco appeal. This approach summarizes the client’s philosophy and vision in a functional and poetic way. The visual identity, spatial design, graphics, and copywriting for Rimowa’s international expansion events have a strong art-deco appeal that mirrors the brand’s latest collection. The identity created for the events charts the influence of Rimowa on global culture.

This graphic language expands to create a system that frames the events. Memorable and functional, it is a modern and unique graphic language with elegant and sophisticated colors. Several shades of blue accompany a vibrant white, which brings energy and punctuation to the overall sleek palette.
